The holiday is full of everything I love,
all my favorite things,
it’s too good to be true–
so it never is.
And that it is why I hate it.

Is it Valentine’s Day? Wow. I nearly forgot. Isn’t that amazing. Maybe we should add in St. Sebastian. He died because of his love. Maybe that’s what the day is missing. Maybe it would be better if the chocolates were full of habenera.
Don’t hate the day. Suspect the message…but still…are you old enough to be so cynical?
